City Informacion: Littleton is a town in Colorado, located in Arapahoe, Douglas and Jefferson counties. It is considered a suburb of Denver and has a population of over 41,000 according to the U.S. Census Bureau (2010). In 1859, a gold rush hit this area, and the town of Littleton was created, but was not incorporated until 1890. In the 1920s, an annual celebration called "Western Welcome Week" began and has occurred every year since. It is held to raise money for charitable organizations. This town also has a museum, called the Littleton Historical Museum, which offers an interesting step into the past.
